Easy Cookies for the Weekend
Making easy cookies for the weekend, is a quick way to bring some delicious smelling goodies to your home. I love to bake a quick batch of cookies, because not only do we get the yummy treats, but we also get that “mmmmmm” smell floating in the air.
Whether you pull a recipe from the Easy Cookies blog, grab some slice and bakes at the market, or make a batch of Tollhouse chocolate chip cookies off the bag of a chocolate chip bag, once you have them baking, you’ll delight in the great scent in the room.
Fall’s crisp air always gets me wanting to make those comfort foods. You know the ones, cookies, mashed potatoes, pot roast, and fresh baked pies. Cookies are a great snack during the day, or a nice way to top off a home-cooked meal.
Are you looking for a quick easy recipe? Here’s a simple recipe for butter cookies. I’ll dedicate a full post to butter cookies at a later date. For now, here’s a quick snappy recipe that you’ll be able to throw together in no time.

1. First mix your dry ingredients together (flour, powdered sugar and salt)
2. Mix your butter and vanilla together, until it’s a nice creamy texture.
3. Combine the two mixing evenly.
4. Spoon drop onto your waiting prepared cookie sheet.
