I was over on Amazon this morning, and browsing through some books, when I came upon a couple of books that were worth mentioning here. Each of these books gets high ratings through customer reviews. When it comes to making cookies, we all have our own favorite recipes, but for me there are two things that I like to consider….memories, and the other thing is convenience. I love that there are ways to make a super duper quick snack for my kids or husband.

My favorite cookie memories take me to my grandmother and her peanut butter cookies with a Hershey’s Kiss pressed in the center of each one. While my favorite “quick tip” is to grab some cookie dough and cut it up, but make it your own by adding unique things to them.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing like making freshly baked cookies from scratch. I’m rather fond of the Tollhouse chocolate chip recipe, along with so many others– but again, some of my favorites are based on childhood memories.
