Cookie and Cream Delights
Okay, are you ready to start our next recipe? Today we’re going to make Cookie and Cream Delights. These are SO GOOD and super easy to make!
Ingredients You’ll Need:
1 (8 sq) pkg. semi sweet baking chocolate
1 (6 sq) pkg. white baking chocolate
10 chocolate and cream sandwich cookies, coarsely crushed (example:
Oreos or Hydrox cookies)
Let’s Get Started:
Place your chocolate and your white chocolate into 2 small microwave safe bowls. Melt the chocolate by heating for 30 seconds, removing to stir, and heating again. Continue this until both your chocolate
and white chocolate are smooth and thoroughly melted.
Take half of your crushed cookies and stir them into the white chocolate. Take the other half of your crushed cookies and stir them into your chocolate.
*Tip- an easy way to crush cookies is to place them into a zip lock bag and roll over them with a rolling pin, or use a large serving spoon, and press the cookies into pieces.
At this point you’re going to want to make sure your cookie sheet is covered with wax paper. You’re going to drop spoonfuls of the cookie and chocolate mixture onto the pan. A really fun way to give this a little character is to take a knife and “swirl” gently through them to give them a cool visual effect! It really gives
them a great look.
Pop them into the fridge for 2 hours so they can become firm before serving them. Once they’re firm, you can break them up into smaller pieces. This recipe will make 16 pieces of the Cookie and Cream Delights.
